Is it Texas? Or is it TaxUs?

Is it Texas? Or is it Tax Us! I have asked that question to myself many many times in the past few years!

And I have come to the conclusion that our beloved state can be rightfully called "TaxUs" State.

Our State has no income taxes. That is not really a good news if you think about it! They collect taxes, not through income taxes but indirectly - via property taxes. And it keeps increasing and increasing and increasing!

How many of you pay more in Property Taxes than the Federal Income Taxes. Raise your hands! I am sure there are more people who pay more in Texas Property Taxes than Federal Taxes. These taxes have gone up every year. I wish our salaries had gone up that much every year!

I wonder where all our money goes to! I don't know.

I wish our beloved Texas impose State Income Taxes and totally eliminate the property taxes or keep it something like California where they tax at a reasonable and comfortable state!

It is wrong to pay taxes on what we have not earned. It is perfectly OK to pay taxes on something we earned.
