Holy Cows

There are many common things one finds on the Indian Roads - trash, traffic jams, pollution, vehicles of all kinds, smog etc and cows. Yes! Holy cows are everywhere - whether it is City Road, Country Road or a National Hihgways. Cows are very much part of street life! They are part of the homeless in India.

Cows are revered but they are abandoned once they cease to be productive. In the picture (above), the cow is crossing a very busy street near Mysore Bank Circle, Bangalore, India.
